Cookie Policy — GroundWorks Manager
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Version: 2026-10-01
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets an application remember settings between visits without sending them to a server with every request. This policy covers both, because the rules on consent apply to both in the same way.
2. The short version
GroundWorks Manager does not set any cookies of its own and does not use analytics, advertising or marketing trackers. The App stores a few settings in your browser's local storage that are strictly necessary for it to work (your login session, language and theme). Because none of this is used for tracking, no consent banner is required and none is shown.
3. What we store in your browser
All of the following are strictly necessary and are stored only on your device:
Login session — a token issued by our authentication provider (Supabase) that keeps you signed in. Stored in local storage; removed when you sign out.
Language — the interface language you chose (English or Polish). Stored in local storage until you change it.
Theme — your light or dark theme setting and similar interface preferences. Stored in local storage until you change them.
Feature state — small technical values the App needs to work correctly, for example the last processed voice-note event. Stored in local storage.
None of these are sent to third parties and none are used to identify you across other websites.
4. Third-party services
Google Fonts — the website loads its fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address when the font is downloaded. This does not set cookies.
Cloudflare — sits in front of our database provider for security. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie used solely to protect the service against automated abuse; it does not track you across sites.
Payment provider — when paid subscriptions launch, the checkout page will be provided by an external payment provider, which may set cookies needed to process the payment securely. We will update this policy and the Subscription Terms with the provider's name before any payment is taken.
Video embeds — if we add YouTube tutorials to the website in future, YouTube may set cookies when a video is played. We will update this policy if that happens.
5. Managing cookies and local storage
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Note that clearing local storage will sign you out of the App and reset your language and theme. Instructions for common browsers:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
6. Changes
If we start using cookies that require consent (for example analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before they are set. The date and version at the top show when this policy was last changed.
